The
Atlanta University Center Council of Students is mobilizing
Atlanta University Center (AUC) students for the "Millions More
Movement" on Oct. 15 in Washington, D.C.
The event marks the 10th anniversary of the historic "Million
Man March."
It brings together millions of people who are committed to
improving the quality of life for communities who have suffered
from oppression, injustice and inequality, and provide an
opportunity to network diverse individuals, organizations and
communities into a unified movement for positive change.
The AUC Council of Students is informing the student body and community on the march and its importance, and recruiting students to get on the bus Friday, Oct. 14 and go to Washington.
The students are also seeking financial contributions to support students' efforts in securing additional buses.

The Atlanta University comprises of Clark Atlanta University, Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC), Morehouse College, Spelman College, Morris Brown College and Morehouse School of Medicine.
